Product information "Monstera subpinnata"
Name: Monstera subpinnata (Schott) Engl. 1879
Synonyms:

Monstera latiloba, K.Krause 1932
Monstera uleana, Engl. 1905
Tornelia subpinnata, Schott 1860

Etymology:

subpinnatus: sub = almost, nearly; pinnatus = feathery, pinnate

Propagation: divisions
Origin: Colombia, Ecuador, Perú, Bolivia
Habitat:

in the warm, humid rainforest of the Amazon basin at altitudes of 100-300m.

Notes:

The cuttings were cut and staked before the beginning of December 2022. By mid-late January, enough small, short roots have formed for the plant to continue growing without problems. Immediate repotting will destroy the small fresh roots, please leave alone until the plants are fully rooted.
Figure 3 shows a four-week-old cutting, picture is a sample, not the actual plant you will get.

Like many other monstera, Monstera subpinnata forms closely spaced leaves when young. Only later do the pinnate leaves form, the decisive momentum is not the size of the plant but its age.
