Habitat: | epiphytic in evergreen, deciduous and deciduous, dry lowland forests and savanna-like woods and small shrubs at altitudes of 800 to 1550 metres as well as lithophytic on rocks. |
Notes: | Dendrobium unicum should be kept much drier in winter, but not necessarily cool. The plant is deciduous and flowers, when the new shoots appear in spring. The flowers are up to 6cm in size and can give off a delicate peach scent when the weather is right. |
