Etymology:	floribundus = with many flowers
Propagation:	seed
Origin:	Ecuador, Peru
Habitat:	epiphytic in the Pacific Andes in warm humid tropical forest, at altitudes of 1500-2600m.
Notes:	easy-growing and flowering beginner's tillandsia, very well suited for use in medium to large terrariums.
